Approved Casualty & Surety is a full-service wholesale insurance and surety MGA headquartered in Oakville, Ontario. Founded in 2013, the firm works exclusively with retail insurance brokers across North America to deliver surety bonding and construction-related insurance products.
The MGA operates as a broker-to-broker back-shop. Retail brokers send their hard-to-place, declined, or specialized surety and insurance accounts to Approved C+S, which uses its deep market relationships to find placement.
Product lines include contract surety (bid, performance, payment bonds), commercial surety (license & permit, fiduciary, estate, customs & excise, lost document bonds), builders risk, E&O, and legal expense insurance. The firm also provides access to exclusive U.S. bonding markets for Canadian brokers with cross-border clients.
